On Monday, 23rd of September, a group of young people from all over Europe gathered in Belgrade to participate on training titled – “Employment instead of Discrimination”. This project, financed from Youth in Action program, gathered youth from ten different European countries, among them the Status:M team. Main organizer of the training is Centre E8 from Belgrade, with which Status:M has great cooperation for a number of years.
The whole international group is participating on a series of workshops, with a main goal of raising awareness about the issue of youth unemployment and discrimination at work place. Training has an interesting component of working in drama workshops. This method has shown to be very useful when you won’t young people to open up and interact.
– The group is great and I am very glad that I decided to come to Belgrade, said Helena from Zagreb, that joined us in this training at the very last moment.
There is a few more exciting days in front of this young group and we hope they will find new friends and learn new useful things.
